📦 Shipping, Processing & Tracking

How long does it take to process my order?
All orders are carefully prepared and shipped within 3–5 business days from the date of purchase.
Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding holidays.

Your estimated delivery time includes:

  • Processing time (3–5 business days)

  • Plus USPS shipping transit time selected at checkout

Rush processing is not available at this time.

Will I receive tracking information?
Yes! Most orders ship via USPS and include tracking and delivery confirmation. Tracking details will be emailed once your order ships so you can follow it every step of the way.

Are signatures required?
For added security:

  • Orders totaling $250 or more require Signature Confirmation

  • All favor orders require Signature Confirmation, regardless of order total
    (No exceptions)


🏠 Shipping Address Information

Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
Please double-check your address at checkout. Shipping labels are automatically generated using the exact address provided, and we’re unable to edit addresses once an order is placed.

If your order has not yet shipped and a correction is needed, contact us immediately to request a cancellation so you may place a new order with the correct address.

What happens if my package is sent to the wrong address?
804 Escentials is not responsible for packages lost, delayed, or undelivered due to incorrect or outdated addresses entered at checkout.


🚚 Transit & Delivery Delays

What if my package is delayed?
Once your order ships, delivery is handled by USPS. Delays can occur—especially during peak seasons or due to weather—but a delay does not mean your package is lost.

Tracking updates always reflect the most current information available to both you and us.
We do not guarantee delivery by or before a specific date.


☀️ Warm Weather Notice

What if my order is exposed to heat after delivery?
Because our products are handcrafted, they may be sensitive to heat. Once tracking confirms delivery (with timestamps), we’re unable to issue refunds or replacements for heat-affected items.

💡 During warmer months, we recommend:

  • Shipping to an address where someone can bring the package inside promptly

  • Monitoring tracking updates closely


🎨 Handmade Variations

Will my items look exactly like the photos?
Each product is handmade, making every piece unique. Slight variations in color, texture, or appearance are completely normal and part of the charm of handcrafted goods.

For this reason, refunds or replacements are not offered for visual differences.

Do you accept returns or refunds?
Due to the personal and hygienic nature of our custom fragrance products, all sales are final.

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for any reason, including fragrance preference or performance expectations. We encourage customers to review scent descriptions carefully before purchasing.

🌸 Fragrance Preferences & Longevity

What if a scent smells different to me or isn’t as strong as expected?
Fragrance is deeply personal. Body chemistry, skin type, pH, environment, and personal preference can all influence how a scent smells and how long it lasts.

Because scent experiences vary, we’re unable to offer refunds or exchanges based on fragrance preference or longevity.


📬 Non-Delivery & Missing Packages

What if my order is marked “Delivered” but I can’t find it?
All orders ship with tracking and delivery confirmation. If a package is marked as delivered but cannot be located, 804 Escentials is not responsible for replacement or refund.

We recommend:

  • Checking with neighbors or household members

  • Contacting your local USPS office

  • Filing a claim directly with USPS

We’re always happy to guide you through the process.


🕯️ Wax & Product Information

What kind of wax do you use?
Our wax is an in-house blend of paraffin and soy, unless otherwise noted. This blend is formulated to provide strong scent throw, smooth melting, and long-lasting fragrance.

What type of warmer works best with your wax melts?
For the strongest and most consistent scent throw, we recommend tea light wax melt warmers. Electric warmers will work, but some may not reach temperatures high enough to fully release fragrance.

How long does your wax need to cure?
We recommend a minimum cure time of 2 weeks. As the wax continues to cure, the fragrance often becomes stronger and more well-rounded over time.


⚠️ Product Safety & Care

How do I safely use wax melts and scented products?

For safe enjoyment:

  • Remove all plastic packaging before use

  • Do not eat or ingest — fragrance products only

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets

  • Use only in warmers designed for scented wax

  • Do not touch melted wax — allow it to cool before handling

  • Do not overfill your wax warmer

Do you offer fragrance dupes or inspired scents?
Yes! 804 Escentials offers home fragrance products made using professional fragrance oils, including inspired blends, modified scents, and original creations.
